This week's Cooking With Cricut Challenge #57 is to use scarecrows, hay and/or crows in your project. There are also several sketches available as an option to use with your project. Here's what I came up with:
I used the Simply Charmed Cartridge for the scarecrow and my new Peachy Keen Stamps (I won) for the face and the stamped parts. I sewed on some raffia for hay and then covered the stitching line with ribbon. I'm really pleased with how this came out!
My 4-year old grandest daughter, Lexi, wanted to enter a card in the competition also. Here is what she came up with. She's just learning to 'sound out' words, so you can see "boo" that she has written between her scarecrows.
Thanks so much for taking a peek! We will be entering this into the Celebrate the Occasion challenge "Fall".
