CREATIVE SISTERS MONDAY CHALLENGE #3 - THINK SPRING!!!

Welcome to our 3rd challenge! 

"THINK SPRING!"

Here in the backwoods of Maine we've had lots of snow this winter. As I write this, they are talking of another storm coming through.  All I can think of is SPRING!  The warmth of the sun, the smell of the earth and seedlings springing forth from the ground. So, that is our challenge.  Anything and everything you can think of that says  "Spring".

For my project this month, I used "Womens Collage - Artsy Collage" from Hot Off the Press that I got at Paper Wishes.  I used the papers to decorate a ceramic frame that I had painted a lavendar.  I added some Dazzles, also from Paper Wishes and some fiber and charms that I had gotten in one of their Card Making Kits of the Month. 







The booklet above is what I used for my frame and card - the ones below show some other choices offered at Paper Wishes.  They have some really great papers and kits for altered art projects.

Now, on to my project!

I tore the papers and applied them to the ceramic frame base with mod-podge.  When dry, I added some Dazzle Celestial Design Stickers, some fibers and a charm. 

I love these "Dazzle" stickers, because they are so thick and heavy - they stick really well to the frame and add a lot of sparkle. 

For the matching gift card, I used some of the coordinating papers.  I cut the pot of flowers from the Freshly Picked Cartridge at 2 1/2" and used a Hampton Art Stamp "Spring".  Of course, it wouldn't be finished without some stickles and pop-dots to set it all off.

I even have enough paper left to make a matching gift bag!!!!  YAY!
