CREATIVE SISTERS MONDAY CHALLENGE - SUMMER FUN!

Hi Everyone.  The Creative Sisters have gotten a little busy this summer - but we are back with a fun challenge!  Summer Fun.  Anything goes with this challenge - as long as it is summer themed.  This is my project for the challenge.  I used the "Pack Your Bags" Cartridge and inserted one of those drink mixes that you can add to your bottled water.  A fun party favor to thank everyone for coming to your summer party. Just have a cooler of bottled water on hand!

Can't wait to see what you all come up with!!!   If we get over 30 entries, we will give away a prize!  Make sure you hop over to my sister's site, http://www.lindascreativity.blogspot.com/, and see what she's come up with  and leave her a little blog love!!!

Birthday Card - Have A Stinkin' Great Day!

My brother has sort of a strange sense of humor, so I thought he'd enjoy this card for his birthday - at least hope it gives him a smile.  He owns a large labrador retriever - and if you know anything about retrievers, you know they always seem to get their nose under a skunk...

I used Camping Critters Cartridge and cut the skunk out at 3".  My granddaughter Lexi added the two little tree brads (from paperwishes.com).

Creative Sisters Birthday

My wonderful Creative Sister, Linda had a birthday yesterday!  I'm not going to say the NUMBER of this birthday - but it's a significant one.  My sister got me started on this paper crafting journey - and it's truly something we are both very passionate about.  We are so blessed to have so many friends who share this passion - and a community where we can learn and grow from each other.

Please join with me in wishing my sister a very happy birthday!  To honor this most special day - I will pick at random - one winner from everyone who leaves a comment for her birthday!  The prize will be a surprise!

MIA - Lots going on!

This is a picture of my Yorky "Herd"  Rascal, 7, is my standard colored  male.  Little biscuit with her first top knot is my 6 month old female.  Trixie with the floppy ears and big brown eyes is my 3 year old 'shorky' (shitzu/yorky mix) who just had the 5 adorable pups.  They all look like Rascal, except for one little female who weight 2.5 ounces right now.
Summer has finally arrived in Maine - and has it gotten crazy busy.  The gardens are in and being visited by deer - so we are replanting and hoping there will be something to can and freeze for winter.  My beautiful Trixie, Shorky, had 5 new babies last week, and we are enjoying all the new life in the house.  My dear friend and breeder of yorkies, gave me a new little girl.  A golden yorky named, Baby Bear.  That brings the grand total of dogs to 4 in our house.

On top of gardens and dogs - I'm still watching my two grandest daughters most days.  They are Lexi who is 4 and Anna who will be 1 in a week.  I've had some health issues and have been to a number of doctors, and think we are getting close to a diagnosis and a plan of action.

With all this going on, I haven't done much crafting.  I appologize for being absent - but will get my life under control soon!   Hope everyone is having a great summer.  Would love to hear what you are all doing!!!  Leave me a comment and tell me how you are spending your summer!
