Creative Scraps Sunday Challenge

Sunday Challenge
Using Paper Dolls Dress-up Cartridge
Cricut

This is not only the challenge entry, but what I will be giving all the little ones for Halloween.  We live way back in the woods in Cornville, Maine.   Yes, there is a Cornville...LOL  The only Trick-or-Treaters we ever get, are family and adopted family.  Let me explain...Once I asked God to please give me more children...I had two boys, Michael and Brian - but I knew I wanted more children in my life.  Most of us know that God has a wonderful sense of humor...and instead of giving me more children of my own - he sent me others who needed me.  We have a large extended family of "kids" who have come and gone from our home and are now parents....these are the children of our adopted family who make it through the wilds of Cornville, Maine - up our driveway in the middle of the woods and yell, "trick or treat."  Since there is always an abundance of candy from everyone else, I try to make it a bit personal with a card made for each one.

I LOVE to use up and recycle - so I have used the containers from "crystal lite" (walmart brand) for the holders of the m&m's.  I picked out all the brown and orange for halloween - and will save the red and green for cards at Christmas - the blue and yellow are "bribery candy", when my grand-daughter successfully uses the potty!!!!

For this card, I used scraps of fall papers, the polk-a-dot embossing folder, inked with brown ink - and the paper doll dress-ups at 3 ".  Since these won't be going into envelopes, I like that the design spills off the confines of the card.

A personal message inside completes the card.  I hope I've inspired you to get creative with your own Halloween traditions!!!
